A historic artisan house of Claus Porto Soaps that over time has also developed in the bathroom line. Of Portuguese origin born more than 100 years and lived in 4 generations, Claus Porto has kept its authenticity, developing his experience in perfumes and cosmetics.
Over the course of more than 133 years and four generations, Claus Porto has developed his unique expertise in soaps, cologne, scented candles, home diffusers and men's care products, creating a philosophy of authenticity and an incredible portfolio of handmade colorful labels and design templates, each with their own unique personality.
At the base are its German founders and a beautiful and historic Portuguese city. The marriage of these two European identities has continued to create a venerable house of beauty and perfume.
The label has built its name on handcrafted soaps infused with refined scents, which draw on ingredients sourced from Portugal's lush countryside. These products are imbued with the heart and soul of a craftsman and are hand packed in an illustrated packaging with beautiful works of art.
Two milestones: alongside Martin Berasategui in Lasarte, a forge of unparalleled talent, and for seven years at Ferran Adrià's Bulli, the epicenter of the global epidemic. But there is an Oriol before the Bulli, one during and one after. In 2002 the solo adventure began with the inauguration of the Estudi de Xocolata i Pastisseria, a busy laboratory in the center of Barcelona and in the heart of world innovation. Technique, aesthetics, experiments in step with advanced catering (see the cd with the box of chocolates or the high-tech chocolate), marked influences from architecture and signature design (Oriol studied Fine Arts, so much so that someone spoke of a Bauhaus pastry): every year exclusive collections come out, which wink from the windows of Barcelona but also Madrid, Tokyo and Riyadh.
