We are in the historic center of Naples, a place where you can breathe the culture and history of this wonderful and passionate city.
To welcome us at the Hotel Decumani Edoardo and Papa Mimì former lawyer and now also hotelier, who fell in love with this structure almost by chance thanks to a friend who occasionally took him to see structures to be able to create a Boutique Hotel.
So fate would have it that Mimi stumbled upon this former school building and saw the immense central hall losing his breath, it was love at first sight and from that moment on his life changed.
The Decumani Hotel de Charme is located in Palazzo Riario Sforza, an 18th century noble palace, which was the official residence of Cardinal Sisto Riario Sforza, archbishop of Naples from 1845 until his death.
Inside this reality there are historical relics, and the almost museum atmosphere creates a unique, intense charm, all emphasized by the attention of Edoardo who meticulously takes care of every detail of the structure, while trying to give that sense of home typical of Naples.
The structure currently houses 39 rooms that are the result of continuous renovation and the desire to expand, giving more and more people the opportunity to live this experience.
The main breakfast room mentioned at the beginning has an overwhelming beauty, meticulously cared for and decorated, absolutely worth seeing.
