To fully tell you the story behind this family of hoteliers, a series of articles would not be enough, it is such as to allow us to define it as a real "dynasty" which originated in 1834 in Kerns in the canton of Oberwalden, near Lucerne. , in Switzerland. Today we are talking about the fifth generation in the figure Roberto E. Wirth owner and manager of the magnificent Hotel Hassler in Rome.

It is defined Iconic, legendary and incomparable by those who have had the pleasure of staying, considering that it is located on the top of the Spanish Steps, synonymous with luxury and refined elegance and which brings with it the charm of history.

As if that weren't enough, there is also a historical allure, as Hassles was founded in 1893, and managed since the thirties by the Wirth family who then became the only owner in 1964. At the beginning they were Oscar Wirth, and later his wife Carmen, who held the reins of the structure until 1982. From that moment the baton passed into the hands of Roberto E. Wirth, current owner and General Manager, who with over 40 years of management, is today the Hotel Manager with most experience in Italy and is the host of this iconic hotel with a thousand shades.

The internal structure consists of 87 rooms, including 21 suites, furnished with a classic and elegant timeless design, where contemporary elements also stand out, in a perfect balance between past and present, inside is the majestic Eva Hall, famous lounge in the historic center of the Eternal City, the Hassler Bar and in the spring and summer season, opens the Palm Court, an oasis of tranquility surrounded by a lush garden.

For lovers of good food there is a flagship and it is the Imàgo restaurant which was awarded 1 Michelin star in 2009, located on the sixth floor of the hotel. Imàgo offers one of the most beautiful views in the world and a high level and highly creative contemporary Italian cuisine thanks to the famous Chef Andrea Antonini.

One of the main features that stands out together with the structure is the impeccable quality of the service, you can feel the presence and competence of Roberto who allows, albeit with great elegance, to always feel at home.
