Today we show you the behind the scenes of an enchanting reality located in Capri, a "Boutique Hotel" of great excellence run by the Third Generation of a family that takes care of it with great passion and dedication. Welcome to La Minerva.
This intimate 19-room boutique hotel is managed as I anticipated by three brothers, Luigi, Antonio and Marco, pure Capresi who after a period of study and work abroad felt the desire to return to their island following in the footsteps of their family. Inside this structure you can immediately perceive the artistic details and the extremely selected and representative color combinations of the territory, you can breathe Capri, and this is the result of the feminine touch of mother Giovanna, the "Woman of flowers", you can see her during the day while he checks that the plants and flowers are perfect or while he arranges some ceramic works, everything is coherent and what we like most is the concept that really represents the nature and culture of the place.
The structure branches out over six levels and has been expanded over time, transforming, for example, former family apartments into cozy rooms and junior suites, all of which retain the name of the family member, in their honor, this link with the roots he answers us when Antonino tells us the story of two large trees planted by his grandparents and which show themselves in an imposing way with a background of the sea, exactly in front of the structure, as if they were watching them, accompanying them, small anecdotes that make us immerse even more in this concept.
In addition to art, however, there is much more, for example a magnificent swimming pool, a space for massages and sauna, and from this season also a restaurant open for guests located on the terrace, we had the pleasure of trying it and the result pleasantly surprised us, a mix of traditional cuisine, local ingredients and that creative touch that leads us to enjoy the courses with even more pleasure, the result was so excellent that we considered this restaurant one of the best on the island.
What is striking is certainly the passion, the energy and that constant desire to improve which in our opinion lead them to make a difference and that with satisfaction we can say that the team also transmits many details, such as that of being found in the evening on the read a flower with a sheet where you can read the next day's weather or other useful information.
Last anecdote during our stay, Mrs. Giovanna and her husband have celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family lunch by the pool, what can I say? Exciting.
