The Dimora Monaci delle Terre Nere is located on the slopes of Etna, the largest volcano in Europe, on the edge of the homonymous National Park, at an altitude of 500 meters.

Among vineyards, olive groves and citrus groves, we spent wonderful days in the organic estate of Guido Coffa which for years has been producing its own wines and hundreds of 0 km products that we tasted in some traditional dishes served at the restaurant " Nerello ".
The rooms and suites are spread over 25 hectares of land, each of which has maintained a strong identity, even after the restoration, but with an eye towards comfort and luxury. Inside each room some original elements have been preserved, such as the lava stone walls that we found in suite 24: Monaci Villa, an exclusive residence surrounded by greenery with a private pool overlooking the surrounding landscape.
The gem of the structure is the Convivium Bar, a unique place in the world where the best bartenders are able to take the company's products and reinterpret them, creating intoxicating blends. Inside we also visited the oil mill where in the past the grapes were processed to produce wine, a place where we participated in the "Wine Tasting" where through the tasting of 5 wines we were guided to discover the flavors of the Etna vineyards .
Monaci delle Terre Nere also has a mascot: Bicio, the splendid dog of Guido Coffa, as well as the first to welcome you once you arrive at the facility and the last one you will see before leaving.
