Made in Italy, customisation and elegance
Italian excellence is always ready to surprise us, especially when it comes to those small and medium-sized companies that are born from an all-Italian family dream. This is the story of My Style Bags, a Milanese company that has made customisation its strong point.
In 2008 Lorenza Bellora and her brother Giuseppe, who grew up in the textile sector and specialised in home textiles, decided to embark on a journey that would lead them to combine their passion for fashion and their expertise in textiles. My Style Bags was born from a dream and the idea of the classic "Weekend away".
Like all entrepreneurial adventures, the brand began with very little and then evolved. The brand began offering its products to customers with a small boutique in Via Ruffini in Milan, and has now reached 22 openings in France, Spain, Norway and Kuwait; but there is a strong desire to move overseas, towards the American market.
This exponential growth is also due to the vision of Stefano Donadel Campbell (CEO) and Leopoldo Orlando, Lorenza's son and head of the Retail area. It's a group, or rather a family where everyone has their own role, they tell us during the interview, nothing is done by chance, but is the result of passion and strategy.
Talking in more detail about the brand, we discover some very special tidbits, such as that the fabrics are directly processed and printed by Bellora following Lorenza's creative ideas. There are two collections, Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer, and although the colours and designs change, the brand maintains a very clear and linear stylistic line, capable of remaining current over the years without feeling the "stress" of normal trends.
Portofino and Chalet in the mountains are the main locations of the collections that fully reflect the refined and elegant Italian taste.
